Technical Drafter / Product Detailer / 3D CAD (Full-time)

We are hiring a Technical Drafter / Product Detailer for our Obrist Manufacturing facility in Baltimore, MD. Come create 3D CAD buildable shop drawings and 3D production details for custom store fixtures, cabinetry, and premium interior elements.

Your Responsibilities

• Create accurate shop drawings, models, details, assemblies, and production documentation for custom cabinetry, millwork, fixtures, and interior elements.
• Develop designs from scratch when required and adapt existing renderings, standards, and prior project details when appropriate.
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, architects, builders, vendors, and shop-floor team members throughout the manufacturing process.

Your Profile

• 5+ years’ experience with 3D modeling for furnishings, fixtures, cabinetry, commercial millwork, architectural millwork, or carpentry-related products.
• Strong working knowledge of CAD tools such as Inventor, SolidWorks, AutoCAD 3D, parametric design software, or similar programs.
• Ability to understand and translate architectural and engineered drawings into manufacturable shop drawings.
• Open, solution-oriented personality who enjoys teamwork
